The HYPER ISLAND
“non-crew” crew site.
HYPER ISLAND’s Digital Media classes were known for creating the most cutting-edge self promo websites. Back then, they were called crew sites and were highly anticipated by industry recruiters. Digital talent was hard to come by. So when we launched a site packed with that, agencies came scrolling across the Internetz.
DM10STO promo-site.
Even though our class wasn’t technically a “crew”. In 2009, we decided to go all in on a site that dared the industry to find and give a little bit more love and warmth in the the world, as well as on the site itself.
During a four week period we promoted our class through the project www.53colors.com
The site is unfortunately offline. But check the video to see what it was all about.
