THE GAS RENAISSANCE
A REBIRTH OF GAS

Gas has been used in Stockholm since the 1850’s (and still is). In fireplaces, outdoor warmers and lighting fixtures to name a few ways. To show that its field of application goes far beyond tired old gas stoves, we helped Stockholm Gas by launching The Gas Renaissance, a concept and campaign where all the new possibilities of gas are highlighted in various creative ways. We’re also educating people about greener options, like biogas. To kick it all off, we show how gas can vitalize Stockholm and the important moments in our everyday lives.

Med den här kampanjen vill vi utmana den ibland förlegade bilden av gas och visa på att dess utveckling och förnyelse aldrig stannat upp. Till skillnad från vad många kanske tror, är dagens biogas ett hållbart och miljövänligt alternativ vars användningsområden inte slutar vid köksspisen, utan fortsätter vidare till den öppna eldstaden och balkongen.

We also created a data driven search display campaign (partly together with Hemnet) that uses what people seach for when looking for new apartments and show how Gasd can make those moments come alive in new and better ways. Wether that is indoor fireplaces, balcony heaters or gas powered grills both in kitchens and recreational spaces.

Along with digital units, we also created outdoor and print units that borrowed the visual expression of interior decoration and design agencies to tell the good people of Stockholm that they are in the middle of The Gas Renaissance and show them how gas can make their homes come alive in new ways.
